We ought to stop looking for validation in all the wrong places. If we don’t believe in ourselves, we can’t expect for everyone else to do so.
When we look towards others for acceptance, we must realize that that is a cry for help from your self-esteem. A plea to understand why you are who you are, and ultimately hope that you come to understand that you are quite fine being that way.
Only we have the answers buried beneath as to why we are how we are and how we can get ourselves moving forward. Unfortunately, we first have to find the key and get our little light to outshine the darkness. Sometimes its OK to have a little help with finding it, but only us can turn it on and hold it out before us.
